A current IATA manual will be provided on loan for the duration of the training.
For consignors (IATA 7.1 / function code A) a certificate recognized by Austro Control is sufficient in practice. If required, we can also issue a certificate recognized by IATA, for which we charge € 80,- (excl. VAT). Please indicate this briefly in the “Comments” field when booking.
Contents:
- Module 0: Understanding Dangerous Goods Basics (Understanding Dangerous Goods Basics/Understanding General Limitations/Determining Roles and Responsibilities/Understanding Importance of Classification & Packaging/Understanding Hazard Communication/Familiarizing with Basic Emergency Procedures)
- Module 1: Classification of dangerous goods (assess a substance or object with regard to the classification criteria/determine the description of dangerous goods/check special provisions)
- Module 2: Preparation of a consignment with dangerous goods (check packaging variants including their quantity limits/apply packaging requirements/apply markings and labels/assess the use of an outer packaging/prepare documentation)

This will ensure that the required training content meets your needs.
