A current IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) manual will be provided on loan for the duration of the course.
For shippers (IATA 7.1 / Function Code A), an Austro Control–recognized certificate is sufficient in practice.
If required, we can additionally issue an IATA-recognized certificate for a fee of € 80.00 (excl. VAT).

Course Contents
Module 0: Understanding the Fundamentals of Dangerous Goods
(Understanding the basics of dangerous goods / understanding general limitations / determining roles and responsibilities / understanding the importance of classification and packaging / understanding hazard communication / becoming familiar with basic emergency response measures)
Module 1: Classification of Dangerous Goods
(Assessing a substance or article against the classification criteria / determining the proper shipping description of dangerous goods / checking special provisions)
Module 2: Preparation of a Dangerous Goods Consignment
(Checking packaging options including quantity limitations / applying packaging requirements / affixing marks and labels / assessing the use of an overpack / preparing documentation)
