Classroom training for personnel responsible for preparing dangerous goods consignments (IATA: 7.1 / Code: C+F / until 2022 Cat. 1)
Target Group:
Personnel of shippers who issue the Shipper´s Declaration for Dangerous Goods (DGD), pack dangerous goods and mark and label the packages or overpacks – including Class 7 (radioactive materials)

Personal training course notes, examination, after successful completion a certificate, certified by IATA and Austro Control GmbH
A current edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations manual will be provided on loan for the duration of the training.
Course Contents:
- Module 0: Understanding the basics of dangerous goods (Dangerous goods applicability/Understanding the general limitations/Identifying different roles and responsibilities/Understanding the importance of classification & packaging/Understanding hazard communication/Familiarising with basic emergency response)
- Module 1: Classifying dangerous goods (Evaluate a substance or an article against the classification criteria/Determine dangerous goods description/Review special provisions)
- Module 2: Preparing dangerous goods shipment (Assess packing options including quantity limitations/Apply packing requirements/Apply marks and labels/Assess use of overpack/Prepare documentation)
- Practical exercises

Due to the new aviation Dangerous Doods training requirements, employers have had to carry out an internal training needs analysis since January 2023. This will ensure that the required training content meets your needs. We have already prepared training needs analyses for you in accordance with the IATA regulations, the needs analysis applicable to this training can be found in detail below:
