Description:

Classroom training for personnel responsible for processing or accepting Dangerous Goods consignments (IATA 7.3 / BMK C+F / until 2022 Cat. 3+6)

Target Group:

Employees of air freight forwarding agents who issue air waybills for Dangerous Goods shipments as well as employees of ground handling service providers and operators (airlines) – excluding Class 7 (radioactive materials)

Tuesday and Wednesday 08h15 – ca. 16h30

Training Location:

Lakefirst Coworking Space, Eva-Maria-Mazzucco-Platz 2, 1220 Vienna, Austria
Arrival by public transportation: Subway line U2, „Seestadt“ station and approx. 3 minutes on foot
Arrival by car: various parking garages are available in the immediate vicinity (e.g. Goldbeck Garage, Ilse Buck Straße 23 and Parkhaus Seehub, Sonnenallee 16, daily rates max. € 4,50 and various WIPARK garages
Accommodation: Hotel DORMERO Hoho Wien, Wangari-Maathai-Platz 1, 1220 Vienna (approx. 3 minutes walk) or we recommend a hotel close to the U2 subway line

  • The price includes:
    Personal training course notes, examination, after successful completion a certificate, certified by IATA and Austro Control GmbH and non-alcoholic drinks

A current edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations manual will be provided on loan for the duration of the training.

Course Contents:

  • Important changes and additions to the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations
  • Brief repetition of important contents of the initial training
  • Practical exercises

Due to the new aviation Dangerous Doods training requirements, employers have had to carry out an internal training needs analysis since January 2023. This will ensure that the required training content meets your needs. We have already prepared training needs analyses for you in accordance with the IATA regulations, the needs analysis applicable to this training can be found in detail below:
